Roaring back to the 1920′s with a Hollywood Sour in one hand and my Zara tote in the other, I was submerged into a world of whiskey, flappers and dapper gents wearing bow ties!Could this really be Sydney? Indeed it was…. Hidden in a small lane way in the city lies Palmer and Co. a boutique bar offering cocktails round the clock and and lunch on Thursday and Fridays.
Being likened to a scene from the Baz Lhurman’s hollywood epic, The Great Gatsby, stepping into Palmer and Co. and making your way down the staircase surrounded by walls covered in vintage prints is like living a scene from the movie itself.
It was a cool night in Sydney so I opted for a fluffy crimson jumper (a hot hue this season) and leather pants (you can’t go wrong with leather) and accentuated with accessories and lips in a matching shade of crimson. My outfit may not have been on par with the 1920′s decor of Palmer and Co. but my attitude was as I embraced a carefree mindset, drank copious amounts of cocktails and mingled with the punters (like any great gatsby chick would)!
